On my late morning trip to Meadowbrook Park in Howard County today (10/27) there was lots of bird activity despite the occasional rain. Highlight was a late Indigo Bunting along the path by the basketball courts and near the playground. A Nashville Warbler and a Lincoln's Sparrow were among many Song and White-throated Sparrows in the area below Pavilion A and between ponds 2 and 3 in the west area of the park. Several Yellow Palm Warblers and Eastern Phoebes were at various spots.
Meadowbrook Park map with these locations is at: http://howardbirds.org/birdinghowardcounty/Meadowbrook/meadowbrook_directions.htm
I wish to second Bonnie's appreciation of Joe Hanfman's efforts in coordinating the Violetear sightings!
