I got to Green Hill around 2 pm, parked in the small construction lot on
south side of Huntmaster Rd and walked into wetland on NW side. Found Dave
Powell and Joe Hanfman already searching for bird. A few minutes after
exchanging pleasantries, Joe spotted the shrike perched in a tree about
150 yards away on opposite side of wetland. If you look at the map that
Jared Fisher included with his original post, it would be near the mark on
the far right side of his map. We watched for about 15 minutes until Joe
saw bird fly low and left. We were not able to locate it after that.

I walked south of Huntmaster Rd for a bit and enjoyed a good number of
sparrows and also spooked 3 American Pipits from a wet area. Ran into
Robert Parsons and he and I tried to relocate the shrike to no avail.

If you go here during the week and cannot use the construction lot to park
in, a little further back towards Brink Rd, look for a small gravel area to
pull off in on south side of Huntmaster just before you cross the bridge
over small creek.

Thanks to Jared Fisher for finding a great county bird.
