Monday, Oct. 31st- 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM - observers: Joe Stag, Mark Scarff, John Hoffman, Gran Wilson, Jim Meyers
Scattered clouds assisted greatly.  More Red-shoulders than Red-tails was unusual. Special thanks to Mark, who's skill at the spotting scope helped to distinguish Redtails from Redshoulders at high altitudes.

Painfully clear sky, little wind and only one set of eyes.

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd - 9:45 AM to 4:15 PM - observers: Joe Stag, Jim Meyers, and Dave Littlepage.
Another blue sky making it difficult to pick out raptors that gained altitude quickly. 
Dave was visiting CVP for the first time, and it was he who  spotted the Golden Eagle at 12:43 PM. (our 4th G.Eagle this 
season)
