A friend who is not a birder but is interested in birds told me he had heard a strange sound while biking on Race Road before dawn on a recent morning; I don't remember if it was today or earlier this week. He described the sound and it seemed to me as if it might be a Sora. When I played the recording for him, he said it sounded like what he heard.
