Very cool!   Many years ago, I saw a crow here (Jug Bay area) and it was solid brown.  I did not have a camera with me, and didn't get a picture.  I didn't even know what it was for sure until it called.  It was very odd looking and I had heard of leucistic (white) birds, but never heard of a brown one.  When I have told people, I typically get no reply or discussion.  The most typical reaction I have had when telling someone is no reaction, which I usually suspect is because they do not believe it.  I have had light play tricks on me before, but I saw essentially the same thing - in excellent light, and the crow I saw was entirely brown.  I am glad you got a photo!
