Hi Everyone,

My wife Becky and I were excited to see a SPOTTED SANDPIPER along the seawall at Fort Smallwood this afternoon (11/7). OK, perhaps I was slightly more excited than she was. This is my latest ever in Maryland and my first in November. It is also a new late date in eBird for the county (first for November). It was nearly directly across from White Rocks, the small islands visible just offshore.

Also present were two LAUGHING GULLS, two FORSTER'S TERNs, and three BUFFLEHEAD.

Good birding!

Bill
