Hello all.

I had a SHORT-EARED OWL this morning at Swan Creek. It was flushed by the sound of a passing piece of construction equipment. It flew from the mitigated wetland (thickest area) across the road to the east corner of the old wetland. Attempts to relocate the bird were unsuccessful as of 1200. I doubt it has gone far, however. 

The Common Raven seen by Stan Arnold and Ed Boyd was hanging out near the power line area for about a half hour this morning.
