Hi all-

After trying for the Western Grebe (congrats to those who saw it-Joe H. great find!) and striking out, I ventured to Lake Needwood.
The only waterfowl on the lake were 4 hen Buffleheads, 2 Pied billed Grebes, 1 Double crested Cormorant.
Land birds were more plentiful, with nice looks at a handsome Swamp Sparrow, Song, White-throated and Dark eyed Juncos.
Also plenty of woodpeckers: Pileated, Downy, Red-bellied, Northern Flicker.
