On the way home from a full day of school visits in Dorchester, I
stopped by Tanyard Marsh. Much like the video game Frogger, I had to
risk life and limb to cross the road and scope the other side. By
coincidence, John Dennehy was already there, picking out the good
birds.

Still present were the Black-bellied Plovers and Dunlin, though not in
the numbers reported by Jim Brighton.

Earlier in the day, after visiting South Dorchester ES, I tried to
locate the American White Pelicans with (again) no success. Has
anyone seen them (or the one now famous resident bird) lately?

Good Birding,
