Hi Everyone,

eBird has released an excellent new feature that makes it possible to embed images directly in your checklists. It's very easy, and the value is significant. First, it makes review of uncommon species easier than ever, but it also makes it more enjoyable to review your own checklists and those of others. If you haven't seen them yet, the new map upgrades are fantastic and include the option to drill down to full checklists when searching for records on the map. (There are many other improvements to the maps as well.) It is my hope that others will enjoy this new feature as much as those of us who tried it during beta-testing.

Note also that you can easily share checklists in the manner above now. Simply copy and paste the URL from the checklist after you finish editing it. Note that the overall checklist comments are hidden, but that all species comments are shown.
