Point Lookout State Park, 24 November 2011

Hi all,

I birded Point Lookout State Park yesterday morning, with the major
highlight being the two CAVE SWALLOWs foraging over the pond at the point
(thanks for posting Tyler!!).  There were some impressive concentrations of
birds as well including 21 FOX SPARROWs, 14 GREAT CORMORANTs on the pound
nets in the bay, and flocks of FORSTER'S TERNs flying down the Potomac into
the bay.  There was a lone BARRED OWL roosting in the picnic area being
harassed by seemingly every bluebird and chickadee in the area!
