Le Conte's Sparrow was not seen again. It was flushed after the idiot
flying the model airplane from across the field too low over my side
of the wet field and flushed out american crows and forced them to fly
low over the dike and marsh scattered all sparrows and some ducks.
Before this happens, I had a good look for about a minute after waited
at least 25 minutes standing in between the blind and the young phrags
in the wet fields. On other side of the marshy impoundments, i
flushed an american bittern out of edge of dike and Bill Hubick was
able to see it from other side.

At the retention ponds across street, there were good # of Gadwall and
1 american wigeon among other ducks. Also an pair of common goldeneye
(young male and female) that just flew in.

Several birders came as i was about to leave.
