Had  3 Great Egrets Yesterday and 1 today  in the Southwest area of Baltimore  . 1 at the Eagle nest pond off Nursery road . 2 at Southwest area park and then 1 today in the pond off Hammonds Ferry road seen from 695 beltway. 
Also while at SWAP at 430 - 500 yesterday evening  the blackbirds started coming in to  roost . I watched some small flocks coming in and most of them gathering near the powerlines so i headed up to the Ballfield . Then noticed many were further south near the Harbor tunnel thruway so headed up to watch from the entrance road . Estimated 2000  . Surely low estimation . the Swarm was following the river from west to east just above the trees . They all went down in the Marsh that run beside Harbor tunnel thruway . Awesome spectacle . Will sit nearer  the Patapsco river bridge on B and A road next tme .
