I'm sorry I missed meeting you, too, and thank you for the eagle report. You
did much better than we did. When I left yesterday morning at 11:45 or so
we'd had 62 eagles. Maybe we should count in the afternoon instead of
morning to get them when they start roosting.

The high water levels had something to do with the low numbers. Normally
many rocks are exposed just below the dam, and the eagles perch there in
large numbers. But the water level was high because of all the rain last
week, so most of the rocks were submerged. I'd like to go back next weekend
to see if more rocks are visible.

Many of the tree blobs on the Cecil side are heron's nests. You can see them
clearly with a scope.
