Sorry for the late post but my android phone would not send a message so I had to rely on my home PC. We birded Swan Harbor from 7:30 til 10:00 am this morning (Friday) with no sign of the LeConte’s sparrow. We did have 2 American Tree Sparrows, one in the same bush the LeContes has been frequenting. Also had a short-eared owl that was coursing over the corn field on the north side of the swamp at 10:00 am. Lot’s of savannahs, swamp and song sparrows as well as beautiful views of very bright bluebirds and 2 northern harriers. Good luck to anyone who tries for the sparrow this weekend.

p.s. - We also whiffed on the pink-footed goose in Bucks County PA which was not seen today up until 3:00 pm when we gave it up.
