Hi Everyone,

This afternoon (4 Dec 2011) Carol and I visited a couple spots along the Nanticoke River in Wicomico County; then I went down to Somerset Co and birded the Deal Island area for a couple hours.

The most interesting thing we saw in Wicomico was a raft of approximately 2500 Ruddy Ducks at the end of Cove Rd.

In Somerset, Riley Roberts Rd had nice diversity, including 2 SNOWY EGRETS (see full eBird list from this location below).  Figured I'd better get the word out about these egrets in case anyone needs them for their Dec list...  :)

At the Chance Inlet were 2 Red-throated Loons and 3 Northern Gannets.
