Update on my continuing failure to capture any photos/video of the Wild
Turkeys in the Patapsco scrubland.

I've seen those turkeys (as many as eight on Wednesday) three times this
week.

This morning ~9:30 AM, several hens/young males were moseying along the
mowed lane by my rear fenceline. Conditions looked very promising:

   1. They were within decent range of my scope/camera combo from the deck.
   2. No posts, trees, horses, or other non-transparent objects were
   obstructing the view.
   3. Amazingly, the camera lined up with the scope's exit pupil on the
first attempt. (Camera adapter is modified with Velcro, so alignment can be
   iffy.)
   4. Bright sun and no wind.

Scope and camera were focused on the lane, I was ready to hit the record
button, one of the turkeys wandered into view...

It looked up in my direction (about 250') and scurried off. Foiled again!

Happy Holidays anyway,
