"Cerulean Blues" book-signing @ ANS Thursday

Hi all,

The new book, "Cerulean Blues", has been getting excellent reviews -- it is
the story of the Cerulean Warbler's struggle to survive, and how habitat
changes -- from its breeding area in the north to its wintering areas in the
south -- are putting the pressure on. Ceruleans as we know have declined
tremendously, an estimated 70% since the 1970s.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the issues facing our
migrants, and also, to enjoy some good company on a winter's evening.

Author Katie Fallon will discuss her new book, Cerulean Blues: A Personal
Search for a Vanishing Songbird about the bird's struggle to survive in
ever-shrinking habitat and the efforts in two hemispheres to save it. Fallon
also will be available to sign books.

The program begins at 7:30. The Sanctuary Shop will open at 7 and will be
open after the presentation. Members receive a 20% discount; light
