 Today, 12/16/11, Jeff Culler and I birded in St. Mary's County. The

- When you turn onto Cornfield Harbor Road from Rt. 5 you'll drive through
a forested area before it opens to fields on both sides of the road. There
is a gravel trail on the left that goes down to the Jacob's Farm section of
Pt. Lookout State Park and the hunter parking lot. Just beyond the trail,
Cornfield Harbor Road twists a bit and there is a stand of phrags in a
marshy area mostly on the left side of the road.
