Hi all,
 
  During our Christmas bird count,(D.Ford/C.Nabors)  the highlight was approx 13 Rusty Blackbirds in the damp area off Sycamore landing Rd
(opposite of the viaduct/water control thing).  Other species seen/heard:
 
Tundra Swans (high flyovers)
Canada Geese
Turkey Vultures
Red shouldered hawk
Cooper's hawk
Cedar Waxwings
Eastern Bluebird
Song Sparrow
White thro Sparrow (abundant)
Swamp Sparrow  1
Yellow  rumped Warbler   (small flock 12-15)
Yellow bellied Sapsucker   2
Downy
hairy
Red bellied
Red headed Woodpecker (heard west side of road)
Pileated wp
northern flicker
Golden crowned Kinglet  
white brst nuthatches
brown creeper
carolina wren
carolina chickadee
tufted titmouse
bluejay
north cardinal
dark eyed junco
winter wren
common crow
fish crow (single birds)
