Several good birds on the Potomac River in DC today.

Cackling goose with a group of 36 Canada geese, just south of the Memorial Bridge

30 Lesser Scaup and a Redhead in the water near the tip of Hains Point. 
Two adult bald eagles also near the tip.

5 Buffleheads at Constitution Gardens

1 Common Merganser at Fletcher's Cove, just off the dock.

Was in the right spot to see a Cooper's Hawk grab a very plump rat off the docks in Old Town, Alexandria. The rat squealed for about 5 seconds and swing it's tail around.
