While my 3 year old grandson was ramming about with his new  "Jeep" in the 
backyard yesterday, a mature Bald Eagle swooped down low  over the house. 
My excited daughter checked in to be sure her ID was  correct: white head, 
white tail, dark body  - a really big bird! This was a  lifer for Mom, Dad, 
& son.
 
She's expecting to get some chickens in the spring. I told her  she better 
hope the Eagle relocates so that they'll only have to worry about  hawks.
