I have been seeing the Pied Crow on and off since 2006. It has held the same general territory during the times I observed it, and since it can reliably be found (and appears healthy!) I'd say it's doing quite well.

Pied Crows are uncommon cage birds in most of America, and have been known to do well wherever they are. Like most corvids, they are rugged birds, so it's no surprise to me that this one has adapted to our climate. It's home is here now, and that's a good thing, because its quite a fun bird to observe.
