Jay Sheppard and I (and a few other people) saw the Lark Sparrow on Assateague Island this morning.

You park in the Maryland State Park parking lot. 

Walk across the 2nd parking lot and you'll see a asphalt trail on the right that parallels a road.

Walk down that trail.

We saw the sparrow across from a post with the letter "B" on it (on the east side of the road) and before the first large green electrical box (on the west side of the road). It was first seen in the grassy area close to the trail and then it flew up into the hedges/bushes/trees and just sat there looking at us looking at it.

This area is before the previous location near pump house #2 - sp start looking early and don't walk by it!
