Several of us saw one Ross's Goose not long after Diane left. The lady of the house was driving out as we were leaving, and said she was afraid the others had been shot. At one point yesterday, it must have been, she had seen four white birds take flight and then heard gunfire from hunters in a nearby field.

Decided to start by treating myself to the Ross's Goose(lifer) after a chilly morning (that got colder) on the Sugarloaf CBC. 12:30pm Many Canada Geese there, but with patience saw a small white goose among them. Several others observed it as well; a portion of the geese rose up and took off.
