This is the definitive answer then --  if someone was shooting geese near 
Kershner's Pond on Sunday , it was done illegally. 

We should all keep the number given by Officer Lathroum -- perhaps the 
local landowners need it as well!

 There is no Sunday hunting allowed for waterfowl.  I have copied a link to 
waterfowl regulations for 2011-2012  below.  There is some Sunday deer 
hunting on private lands in certain counties on specific Sundays only.  
Violations can be reported 24/7 to our dispatch at 410-260-8888, I 
suggest to hunters to save the number in their cell phones, birders could 
do likewise
