Apologies to Norm for posting out of state birds but I lumped them all into one email for brevity. 


A Brewer's Sparrow was found at Occoquan Bay NWR. Discussion on ID Frontiers indicates that this is the Timberline subspecies of Brewer's Sparrow which most taxonomists believe should be a separate species. Here's a link to the ID Frontiers discussion:
