Bynum Run Park in Bel Air, which is always very hit or miss (usually miss) for waterfowl, hosted 5 Northern Shovelers today. These birds were first located yesterday, and were still present when I stopped by this morning around 10:30. There was one drake and three hens. In addition to the Shovelers, which were very close, there was also a cooperative Kingfisher who allowed for some very good (and close) views.
