 Walked a bit of the river trail upriver from Great Falls, and then back to
the tow path, when the mud got too deep.
  Above the coffer dam, and between Conn Island and the Md. shore, were
200-300, or so, Ring- necked ducks; most I've seen this year. Also, a
couple of Common Mergansers, and further up a few Bufflehead.
Not much else, except a calling Barred Owl, and an amazing sunset.
