The answer is probably no.  However, my first daffodil bloomed on December 
28.  I now have about 10 in full bloom.  My previous early date was Jan 19 
some years ago.

The Cardinal has begun again to attack the windows, but I am not sure this 
bird ever stopped all fall.  It started at 7:06 yesterday morning
and it continues banging the windows off and on throughout the day.

I got the 2012 McMurray Hatchery catalog in the mail.  It sales mostly 
chickens and ducks.  I did notice that they also advertise a breeding pair 
of White Mute Swans (3 to 4 years old).
