We arrived in the general location at 10:45 and left at 2:45 and did not
see the Barnacle. Don't see how we missed seeing the guys with the scopes,
but we concentrated our time in the fields along Buckingham Road, along the
north side of Venaringham Lane, and looking south from 291. There was not
a single goose on the river during the day.

As a tiny consolation, we found a Greater White-fronted Goose along Perkins
Hill Road that runs north from 291 across from Buckingham. It was close
to the road about a half mile north of 291, through a fence and behind some
of those widespread cedars. With hundreds of other Canadas.

If people are going to chase this weekend, there is a good funky deli type
place named, "Play it Again Sam" in the center of Chestertown. The owner
has been alerted to the rare goose and the likelihood of goose chasers being
in town.

No reports on the Barnacle Goose yet today. Anybody on the list go look
for it? Negative reports are useful, too.
