A short while ago, had an immature accipiter feeding on a bird (mourning dove?) on the ground.  Thin white stripe over the eye, robust build, possibly the size of a redtail.  However, I have read how difficult it is to separate imm. Coopers from Goshawks, so reserve judgement.  It flew off, but the squirrels are going bananas, so it might still be around.   Curiously, a nearly identical bird fed in almost the same spot two years ago, after a big snow.
