Friday the 13th wasn't lucky for me, either.  After checking and
rechecking all of the sites where the Barnacle Goose has been seen
over the last four days (which Tyler and Jane had already done, no
doubt), I came up empty - although I too was momentarily excited by
the white-faced Canada Goose down at the boat ramp.  My efforts
included walking part way down Maiden Lot Farm Lane, twice, and
carefully scanning the goose flock that was feeding in the corn
stubble on the east side of the lane (where the Barnacle Goose was
seen yesterday afternoon, apparently).  When I finally gave up around
2:30, the couple from Kentucky was still trying valiantly.

If anyone finds the goose over the weekend, please post from the
field, if possible, with an accurate description of where you're
seeing it.
