Wow!  What a treat.  We had five Eastern Bluebirds in our yard yesterday.  There were four males and one female.  They sat in the 
Crape Myrtle Bush, flew to the Dogwood Tree, and went into the Holly Tree.  They even went inside my Bluebird house that the House Wrens used for the past two years.  We have only seen two Bluebirds in our yard  before  and that was in February, 2002.
     Along with our other yard birds we had a surprise visit from a Hermit Thrush which sat on the frozen ice in the bird bath..  In January, 2004 a Hermit Thrush came to our heated birdbath for three days in a row.
