Went yesterday afternoon (Sunday) and around 4:30, as predicted, 3 Short-eared Owls appeared.  Earlier we saw at least one Harrier hunting over the field.  

Warning-don't park on Baumgartner Rd.  We were approached by a woman who preferred that we didn't park on her farm property-we had pulled off of the road onto a paved "apron" by the fence.  Stay on Bull Frog Rd.  It's probably a better view anyway.
