Goldfinches - a few sprinkled into Talbot County now also.  I saw three
along a Tunis Mills roadside this morning, and had one at a feeder just now.
Actually my first three for the season showed up at the time of the deepest
cold snap and our dusting of snow flurries a couple of weeks ago.  They
stayed for two days.  Prior to that there had been none since last October.
Now I am ready for a FOY Pine Siskin.
