Here at first light this morning; yesterday's female Black Scoter does not appear to have remained. It was quite skittish yesterday with people throwing sticks in the water for dogs to fetch and may have been a very transient bird. I heard from two birders after I left that they had not seen it in either south or north impoundment yesterday.
