Do you think this person could have just been a photographer and NOT a birder. 

If I was there I would have said something to this person for sure.

I have never move too close to any bird for a photo. I would just try for my best shot and then cropped the photo for a closer look.  But, then I am not a real photographer, I just do it for fun. 

This morning in my yard, I am seeing the usual Chickadees, Titmouse, Downy woodies, Mourning Doves, Bluejays, Cardinals, Carolina Wren, lots of vultures in the woods and a large flock of Geese flying over.
