Hi all,
I've also seen Red-Shoulders hunt night crawlers in early spring; one morning a couple of years ago, I was watching a flock of Common Crows turning over leaves in a damp area near the creek.  In the middle of the crows was a lone RS Hawk doing the same.  The crows didn't bother the hawk and vise versa- interesting to watch too!

Diane.

Tom,

My friend Charlie Kucera took photos and video of his local Red-shouldered
Hawks eating worms in his back yard in Arbutus (Balt. Co.) last year.  It
was quite a spectacle.
