For a few days now I have been seeing a pair of House Finches which I hadn't seen for months.  Today  I saw my first American Goldfinch which I hadn't seen in my yard for months either.  First I saw it on the ground under the black oil sunflower feeder.  Then it flew over to the thistle feeder for a little while.  I hope it returns soon.
