Nice group of mergansers on Kingman Lake this morning. 

9 Common mergansers (7 males/2 females)
8 Hooded mergansers (5males/3 females)

Both groups were exhibiting mating behavior/displays and males were chasing each other. An adult bald eagle came over the tree canopy and they scattered in different directions.  All but three common mergansers returned a few minutes later.

There was also one winter wren bobbing along on Kingman Island in the knotweed stand.
