Hi all on Saturday 2-11-12 at around 1:15 I made a stop at a farm pond on Rt 309 about a mile from Rt 213 near Centreville in Queen Annes County to look at any waterfowl in the area . There were a number of species there . But by far the The best bird was an Immature Golden Eagle dining on a dead Snow Goose. The all dark bird had lots of white at the base of its tail . The golden color on top it head showed well . It would pluck some feathers ,eat , pluck more etc. There were two Immature Bald Eagle sitting Close by watching and waiting . At one point the Golden Eagle was buzzed by an adult Bald Eagle as it flew by but the Golden stayed put . It was still there when I moved on 20 Minutes latter . Bird List below

Ring Necked Duck 56
Green Winged Teal 16
Lesser Scaup 1
Black Duck 10
Bufflehead 1 drake
Snow Geese 4

Ring Billed Gull 10
