For those wondering where the name Virginia's Warbler came from, I quote from "The Birder's Companion" by Christopher Leahy.

"Virginia Anderson (Virginia's Warbler). Spencer Baird named this warbler for the wife of the army surgeon who sent him the specimen of this dry-country species. Dr. William Wallace Anderson collected his wife's warbler near Fort Burgwyn, New Mexico, circa 1858."
