MD Osprey:

The Big Year movie DVD was released on 31 Jan. Barbara and I watched 
it yesterday. There are two version of the movie on the disks (on 
both the regular DVD and the BluRay versions), the original theatric 
release and an extended version (which we watched). There are also 
extra scenes and out-takes. Plus there is a short feature on "The Big 
Migration" about how they had to transport the cast, crew, and 
equipment around to all of the various locations that they used, 
especially to the Yukon location where they replicated Attu.

We enjoyed watching all of the new scenes and features.

For those of you who have not seen the movie, the Pink-footed Goose 
plays an important, although improbable, role in the movie.
