Hello all,

I just wanted to add that I saw Pink-footed Goose first this morning just after first light at 6:40am from the back of the cemetary. I arrived at about 6:30am and it was too dark to see well, but there was already one birder (Dave something maybe, sorry I forgot your name) there waiting for the sun. The bird was present on the pond with the Canada Goose flock, which was there before dawn, which adds to the evidence that this is where the birds are roosting for the night. After the sun came up the bird climbed onto the far bank of the pond and was preening, etc. and occassionally being chased by a Canada Goose. Fred's account thouroughly summed up the rest of our experience with the bird. I was also able to get some distant pics and some video, including of it flying, so hopefully it came out OK. The "dropped pin" provided by Dan Haas the other day led me to the cemetary, which is quite visible from the Satellite view in Google maps, although it looks more like a strangely square group of cedar trees, directly west of the pond. I also updated the shared Google map with the first observed time from this morning.

Good Birding and thanks for everyone's info and up to the minute reports,
