Hello Listserv owner,

I was unable to subscribe to MD Osprey tonight; apparently the number of
subscribers is maxed out. In any case, it appeared that your listserv would
benefit from the following information posted to the VA birding list this
evening regarding the Pink-footed Goose.

I successfully chased the Pink-footed Goose in Maryland this afternoon, this
is not that far for those in northern VA, it only took me an hour and a half
to get up there. This is the southernmost record for the US. If you chase
it be aware that it tends to show up in a different field in the area each
day but roosts at a farm pond visible from the back of the cemetery along
Jennings Chapel Rd. It left there this morning by 7:30. After it leaves
that pond it has taken several hours to relocate but for the last two days
it has been staked out by noon. Check the MDOsprey listserv for updates. I
have posted photos on my Flickr site

Note, I have not requested James Fox's permission to post this, but since it
is publicly available and relevant to your interests, I paste it here.

Best,
