Today I spent the morning at Pickering Creek doing 'other things' but while
there I checked with the folks looking for the warbler. At 8:30 a birder
from Cleveland, TN had managed a fairly decent sighting. At 11:45 another
birder, this one from Pennsylvania, got brief and unrewarding looks, but was
staying around with the hope of getting additional sightings. The 'chip' of
the bird continued to be a helpful guide for both birders. Others between
those times came and left without success, for one couple was there that
total period and had not seen the bird.

Thirty Coots were still playing in the waters of the closest pond.
