Richard, 
I just drove down Gorman Rd and did not see the cranes. This doesn't mean they are not there because I couldn't see the spot where they were yesterday because of the rolling hills. 
A member of the bird club heard last night that they were first seen on Sunday. We didn't get the word until late yesterday afternoon. 
Be careful with traffic. One birder was rear ended yesterday.
