Hey everyone,

Last Monday (2/27/12) Jared Satchell, Dan Small, and myself visited
Stemmer's Run WMA in southern Cecil County for Woodcocks. We were
rewarded with a couple birds displaying. Gadwall, American Wigeon,
Green Winged Teal, Wood Duck, American Black Duck, and Mallard were
also observed coming to roost in the phragmites. After dropping Dan
off at his car in Cecilton, Jared and I continued to Millington WMA in
Kent County where we heard another Woodcock peenting off of Walnut
School Rd east of the bridge.

I have published a new blog post on the winter waterfowl of Ocean City
Inlet. This blog post features many of Bill Hubick's great waterfowl
photos. It can be viewed at www.midatlanticnature.blogspot.com
