Led an all day sparrow search yesterday (private property) and we turned up a nice assortment of sparrows.....FOX Sparrows, SAVANNAHS, SWAMPS among the expected SONGS, WHITE-THROATS and JUNCOS. FIELDS singing beautifully a number of places. TOWHEES starting to arrive everywhere! A flock of WILD TURKEYS was a great way to start the day. GREEN-WING TEAL, PINTAIL, GADWALL, WIGEON and RING-NECKED DUCKS...COMMON and HOODED MERGANSERS. SNIPE numbers increasing with 16 + birds. Ended the day with a BALD EAGLE 

Birded Rockburn this morning ...not much new other than a TOWHEE....
Did find some Red-backed Salamanders and got a neat shot of both colors together.....
